Does Epassporte Close An Account After It's Reported For Fraud?

Does anyone have a definitive answer for this? Thanks :thumbsup

Only if the investigation confirms it. They dont close it, just because someone file a report

Ah ok, much appreciated, Kris. Have you personally reported fraudulent affiliates and found that Epassporte confirms the fraud for the most part, or is it a bit of a crapshoot?

One would assume not automatically. But most likely after investigation?

You would need to talk to Epass for a ratio on that, but I dont think they would go public with those numbers. I'ts not something I have a answer for at least

Depends on the situation, the account history, who reports and a lot more but if you have a business account and send information about scammers to [email protected] then we will review it.

someone told me a while back when an epass user reports fraud -- for instance a store double charges him or such -- epass freezes his account. Is this true?

If you say you have unauthorized transactions on your account then we will block the account to prevent more transactions until new cards are issued.

If its a question of a store settling a transaction twice or similar the account should not be blocked.
