Problem with living in a great vacation spot.
I live in Rio and the nice part of Rio so I have invited friends to visit over the years. Well once word started getting around as to how cool it is to visit here, I have non stop guests.
So my current guest is more a friend of a friend and she asked to stay two days so she could find a place. Then her visa got goofed up and she can only stay 3 weeks, not the 6 months she was thinking etc so I said fine just stay here. But I am charging her. It is not much but it is the principal of the thing. My other friends always tip my maid when they are here as a thank you to her and that is cool. But I am thinking of making a price list or something as this is getting crazy we have a house guest planned every month until Jan now. |
and your address is ? i will start booking for the next year ; )

So February would be a good time to visit? Perfect for me, cold as fuck in the Midwest!

That is the only good part about living in the middle of nowhere, Ohio...no one ever wants to come visit, and even if they did they could probably never find my house.

in a word: TOURISTS.
but yeah, i feel your pain, i have people coming in and out of my place every couple of weeks, except when i'm traveling, and even then i'm usually letting someone use it when i'm gone. |
Next stop, Whistler.
Damn what an awesome thread. Two new destination spots. Thanks guys! Now I need southeast Asia. Anyone? |
post google map link :)

Made that mistake when I bought a big house in Boca. Now for my second house up here in the mountains - 1 bedroom - no futon or sleeper sofas. Works.

Sly, you now know how it works as you would be most welcome. Feb is carnaval and the best time to visit so give it some thought.
