Hello everyone, I'm totally new to the adult business and just launched my very first website in softcore/babe niche.

I would REALLY appreciate GFY community feedback about my first site, LAHSIM dot com as I'm sure there is plenty of room for improvement :)

Looks good, but can I ask what LAHSIM means or stands for?
Also, what is the purpose of that opening splash page? It doesn't have any age warnings on it so it's not there for that reason . . so it doesn't really serve a purpose as far as I can see. I would make the blog itself your home page - far more text on there for Google to get its teeth into

try and think of your site as a magazine.. Put your best ads on the right side so that they are the last thing the surfer sees before he turns the page. if you want an idea of how important that spot is, call a print magazing and ask then for a right side page ad. its one of the more costly, and one of the more effective.

Thank you for your input purecharlie. I've removed the opening splash page and have made the blog itself a home page. LAHSIM is my middle name spelled backwords. Also, more text is better for Google or should I remove some text in the tags or side bars?

Welcome back my friend and well done for taking the advice and removing the splash page. Your question about the amount of text that you need on the page for Google is a VERY tough one to answer. It's more about WHAT your text says than the amount of it. There are some much better experts on SEO than me on GFY, do a search and you will find some good info but you could also start by reading this post which has some useful info on what text to include in your page from a SEO point of view:-

Can I offer one other bit of advice? I know it may have seemed like a good idea to name your blog after your middle name in reverse - but really it isn't such a great idea. It means nothing to anyone other than you.
Before you start marketing it heavily I would rename it to something that reflects the content that is on the blog - www.playboybabesnude.com or something like that - there are loads of domain names still available along these lines so I would brand it better before you start marketing it heavily. The lay-out of the blog looks good though so good luck!
