Question about buying sigs on GFY
 

I am looking to buy sigs and avatars of regular GFY posters. If you actually know something about the adult business and post regularly then hit me up on icq 23325595.

I say, "IF" you know something about the adult business because I have spoken to a few people recently who were interested in selling / renting their sigs and avatars and the most I could get out of them was that they "ran a few blogs that didn't make any money". So my question is this . . If you ran a few blogs and made no money, why would you have thousands and thousands of posts to your name on GFY?
I come on GFY to exchange ideas, help newcomers and find business partners in different areas - this is based on my four years of experience running profitable paysites, affiliate programs, TGPs, blogs, shooting content, etc . . . What are these guys who "post like crazy but know nothing" contributing here? What are they ABLE to contribute come to think of it - considering they don't seem to have actually done anything themselves in the industry? If their posts were all asking for help then I would understand it, but they're not - they seem to actually think they know something (but based on what? Sitting at home and having a wank?? grrrrr!!!).
OK rant over . . .

The last thing I want is my sig / avatar next to some clueless comment or mindless "bump" so hit me up if you have half a clue and pass me by if you don't :)

you have some very 'healthy' position on that. more advertisers should also consider this. because 'spamming gfy' folks may also ruin image of guys in their sig (what actually happens)

Thanks Wizzo and Signbucks - yes it matters to me a lot who is carrying my sig. Basically they are my company's billboard on GFY and if they make some stupid comment or slag someone off for no reason then it impacts on my company, so I wouldn't want that.
That's why I have been having problems finding good people to have my sig on GFY. Loads of people wanted to sell me sigs but very few of them were willing to discuss for five minutes with me what their adult industry background was, etc . . so I could get a feel for the person I was potentially hiring to represent my company. Some of them even seemed put out that I wanted to know something about them. "I will post 10 times a day and that's all you need to know" I was told by one person - hmmmm, thanks but no thanks buddy, I'll find someone else.
I wouldn't hire someone to represent my company in the real world without an interview so why would I do it on GFY?

If you're really looking to make a significant contribution open up a soup kitchen or a homeless shelter in your area... otherwise you're just taking all of this way too seriously :) (sigwhore advice).

don't forget to stipulate a minimum amount of posts per month, to get your money's worth
