Good easy free program to record screen?
 

I know there's a million of them, but what's a good one you use? I just need to record a short clip of something and convert it to gif.

Pretty sweet, but not GIF. I CAN download a converter, but it's annoying going from program to program.

gif is so 1996 ;)

cam studio (plus the lossless codec) is pretty good to record the screen, not sure about the gif conversion though.
