I don't really know who else to share this with, so I'm coming to GFY haha. After work I like to come home and relax in cheap buy in tournaments. This one was $6 to get into and you got $1 for every person you knocked out. Needless to say, I knocked a bunch of people out and ended up winning the whole thing! [/bragging] I consider myself a decent card player, been playing for about 4-5 years but I never, ever, play above my limits. I won $3,000 in a tournament similar to this about a year ago. If anyone ever wants to play, hit me up!

Great feeling to win a tourney, sucks to get knocked out on the final table.
I play a little $5-$50 tourneys myself and have been lucky to win a couple of times its great :)

I'd be interested in signing up, I have been playing on Carbon Poker and don't really like their tournaments, I'm curious, how long did it take you to play that tournament where you eliminated a shit ton of people? Is that a tournament they do on a nightly basis? Lemme know and congrats! :thumbsup

Yeah, with ultimate bet they have a ton of daily tournaments that focus on the "sniper" aspect - where you receive money back for eliminating players. Those are the tournaments I focus on primarily. Mainly due to the fact that I know I'll more often than not break even before being eliminated myself. It's a great concept and often times the only type of tournament I compete in.

Unfortunately I would like to act like a baller and claim I play 100 tables at once but poker is just my source of relaxing. I know I'm good at it but I prefer live games over online. Therefore I just play big tournaments while I eat dinner or watch some TV. Not only that but one of my best friends in college was ten times better than me and I watched him lose a bankroll of $100 which he turned into $30,000 grand (in one night) and then lost it all that same night. 1 on 1 games at $5,000 a pop is a bitch. Unfortunately I'm not kidding, he wanted to commit suicide after it happened lol, college was interesting times.

I lost to quads 7 times in one weekend playing 5/10$ and 10/20$ limit omaha at UB. I had nut house ever time it happened. Last time I played there. :1orglaugh

I never do well in tourneys over 300 people. Never cashed once. Always me with KK and someone with AA or a bad beat to knock me out.

Congrats, no matter how big the tourney, coming in 1st in a big field is an awesome feeling. $6 into $900 is pretty nice also.
