Wireless Mouse... worth it?
worth the money or not?
I love my wireless mouse and could never go back to a corded one!
Mine died on me after 1 year. and they are not cheap.
I switched to a wireless mouse and keyboard (Microsoft, came as a dual pack) on my three new machines bought this year. I did not like it at first, now I love it. I still use a wired mouse on my main machine however.
I do not care for changing the batteries every couple of months. But I always have plenty on hand in the house so it is not that big a deal. Just a routine annoyance. :2 cents: |
Would never use anything else.
would never go back to corded
I don't like them just because of the weight, so I think its really personal preference.
i don't find it necessary for desktops but it seems to be all they sell anymore.
I was also thinking on getting one of those...
Wireless shit is okay UNLESS you're a gamer. Then you might as well be throwing money down the toilet.

Anyway I highly recommend: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mi...s/130&cl=us,en The battery lasts so long I forget to charge it, and it's so comfortable any time I pickup someone else's mouse I immediately remember how much I love this thing... Great buy and if you spend as many hours as I do on the computer, worth its weight in gold. |

Maybe it's just me, but the ones I've used in the past always seem to have just a *slight* millisecond delay on it that drives me crazy. The cord never bothers me so it's hard to justify the inconvenience of batteries.
Wouldnt use anything else ! I've been using the logitech laser nano mouse its the nuts !
It has a tiny usb dongle that doesnt get in the way and the batteries last for ages I highly recommend it to you as I have done to others |
Try Logitech
I have 3 sets of cordless keyboards and mice for all my desktops...would never think of going back to corded. Get ones that have a charging station then you avoid having to change the batteries.
ok... I'm buying myself a wireless mouse... in this new office setup the cord has been bugging me and I keep having to pull on it since my computer is now very low compared to my desk.
I really like mine!

I have an old logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Mouse comes with rechargeable's, kb uses normal double A batteries (and they last years).
Two thumbs up :thumbsup :thumbsup |
I had one and didn't like it. I had a nice Microsoft one, it was always giving me trouble. I don't mind the cord, and it ALWAYS works and is nicely responsive. But then again I kinda like what I get used to. I have had the same style mouse for almost 8 years.
To me the cord isnt much more intrusive than having some dongle poking out of the side of my machine or a docking station. I don't know why you would get one for a desk top. I mean, fuck, your not going anywhere anyway. |

I would lose it if I had a wireless. Sad but true.

not a fan of wireless mouses
i am fan of old mouses with out wheels :D
most definitely. just missing a wire but it feels better.
get an optical mouse, so smooth and no dirt clogging the ball.
they have a bright LED underneath so I don't think you can get them wireless as it would drain the battery. mine was $10, small and light, nothing to them. doesn't work much on my woodgrain desk so I use a sheet of paper for a mouse pad. |
need corded for gaming
I use a corded mouse and keyboard. They don't make wireless mice with charging stations or something to get around the replacing battery issue?
I have an Apple one and love it
been using it on my laptop for a few yrs, :thumbsup
I'm surprised there are still people using corded mice :upsidedow
Not worth the money. I had a wireles mouse. I hated having to change batteries for it. More convinient just to have a regular mouse, and not worry about changing batteries for the mouse.
After your cat eat one of your wired mouse.. yes :thumbsup

Here's the current lineup: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ke...mbos/&cl=us,en btw: I've never bought new batteries for it yet. |
I have an older logitech and love it. You will change the batteries on it twice a year maximum. It works on wood and any surface as long as it isn't white.
Get a good expensive one ($65-80) that helps the posture of your hand.
This is what I use and it has helped a lot. http://runningclam.files.wordpress.c...mouse-6000.jpg |
Yes wireless is the way to go. I love my Logitech MX Revolution

Changed mine for a wireless yesterday.. Love it so far :)
Love my mouse/keyboard combo. Go with the ergonomic wireless keyboard too. Sooo nice.

couldn't stand that shit, bought one and used it about 2 hours: high-precision bullshit, it takes you like 2 minutes to point and click, I would greatly recommend it if you want to be able to click on pixel No2, No12 and No345 on your screen, but for everything else use a normal mouse
could be the model that I purchased, but I'm not buying another one of those for at least five years |
logitech all the way...
i used to work for them and once i tried their products i havent found anything better....ive been wireless for about 10yrs...would never go back to a cord... you dont HAVE to get a keyboard & mouse combo with logitech products... as for gaming, never ever had a problem with my keyboard or mouse (also buy the logitech mouse that is rechargable...a single charge can last days if you forget to put it back in its craddle)... |
