5 years ago i blew out my L5 S1. It felt like someone was stabbing me in the leg right below my right ass cheek. Was by far the worst pain i have ever been in in my life. I had all the mri like you and every doctor said surgery. I have heard horror stories on surgery so elected for spinal decompression. Cost me 3500 and i went twice a week and 2 sessions per visit. After i completed it i felt great. 5 years later and i am still good. I know take better care of myself and know what i can and cant pick up.

I screwed up my back at work lifting something that weighed less than ten pounds. I've had pretty much everything done including surgery. The surgery didn't work the first time, so I've been through a ton of "diagnostic" testing and they think that a re-surgery would be best. It's a workman's comp type of thing, so I have to jump through all their hoops. They won't pay for a spinal decompression because it's "to experimental". Go for it. I've heard nothing but great things about it.

DOn't do it.! look up the manufactures of the biggest decompress machines they were raided by the FBI in 2004. They practice false advertising and they have done permanent damge to many patients. your MRI looks damn severe. I know I just had micro discectomy in January after havng tried nearly everything else. I'm 85% today . I dont recommend surgery for everyone but this spinal decompress is B.S. if it was so great after all these years beleive me the insurance companies would pay for it rather then paying for surgery.
