Navy Pier is a nice place to spend with the wife. I was there in July after we got married in Chicago.

Doesn't look like I was free any of the dates it was running, but would have been fun.

Yeah, I think I will take your word for it. That is a little extreme for me. :upsidedow

Nice shots. I can't wait to get back to Chicago this coming year. It's always a great time. My in laws live on the Fox river which is not too far from downtown, but we usually spend most of our vacation cruising up and down the river or hanging at Blarney Island :thumbsup

I've only seen mini versions of those gorilla pods in stores - not sturdy enough to take an SLR weight.

Gonna have to order some online perhaps.

Freaks me out a little to see that one wrapped around the rearview mirror, though. My insurance agent would have a coronary. :1orglaugh

edit - I wonder would the weight of a 200mm lens would cause them to droop?

We were just playing around. Would not recommend attaching to moving vehicles. And how much does the 200mm lens weigh? I think this holds up to 12 lbs.

I want a gorilla pod. Ever since I got my new 'fancy' camera I have been buying tons of add-ons and that is on the wish list.

We liked Chicago but we are going to have to go back because I missed so much. I never got to Wrigley Field, for starters. My hubby is a bears fan so I am sure we will go back.

The leg room is quite spacious if you are a bird and they serve nuts.
