Good GOD Jerry Lewis got old...Anyone watching the telethon?
 

Jesus it hurts to see Jerry telling these old style jokes that were funny maybe 40 years ago....

Just turned it on to look - but he actually doesn't look as bad as I expected from your post - he looks better than those years when he was sick and his face looked like a chipmunk; but he's an old guy and tells old jokes - and has old guests - and old music - been that way forever. Probably why I haven't watched since I was younger and at my mother's house for a holiday dinner or something.
But when I saw your post I was expecting a "Dick Clark" situation :(

Watching Dick Clark makes Baby Jesus cry....

Yeah he doesn't look that bad but I was just shocked....Plus after he sang that song off beat with the music and then had to sit down out of breath to talk to the audience afterwards, my eyes got watery and I had to change the channel.

Tampa's not carrying it till 9am tomorrow. Not that I'm a telethon fan but that seemed a bit odd. Found it on WGN. Doesn't look too bad for 83.

I think he's kicking some ass to be 83 years old. Matter of fact Claudia-Marie and I are getting dressed right now to head over to the SouthPoint Casino to see him doing the show LIVE

I'm kinda excited. I've watched this show every year since I was a little kid. This is gonna be sorta cool to see him in person.

I've seen him interviewed a few times. He is one cocky s.o.b...

wanna see him and dick clark arm wrestle and then kill each other. Jerry Lewis needs to just die on the telecast and end it. Same w/ Dick Clark. Another New Years with him drooling through the new year's eve thing is approaching.

Well Claudia-Marie and I went over to the SouthPoint Hotel and Casino Sunday night. It was freakin' cool. I've watched the Jerry Lewis telethon since I was a kid.

When we got there we went to the Exhibition Hall which is where it was being broadcast from. Security recognized Claudia-Marie and ushered us past the hundreds of people waiting in line to get in and we were seated immediately.

It was a very cool experience to say the least. I know it's not like hanging with celebs or anything...but for me, after watching that show since the late 1960's, it was kinda cool to actually be there in person.
