I'd like someone from bangbros to answer this: Is there any sort of protection on password-sharing at Bangbros??

I just happened to come across a username/password in a youtube video comment and its been working fine since last weekend. Pretty sure there are many more people using this same username/password combo by now. Its a shame bangbros creates such great content then doesnt lock down their members area.

Makes me wonder how many people are entering paysites' members areas like this for free. Just another reason for conversions going to shit. :2 cents:

This is what concerns me... is it only Bangbros that has such a prominent password-sharing problem or is it a big problem for many paysites?

I am going to see if I can search the internets to see if I can find another password that works and I will post here if I do...

well that was fast. It took me all of 30seconds to get back into the Bangbros members area with a another user/pass I found.

That sucks, no wonder my conversion rate has fallen with them.

It seems that the larger the company, and the more employees they have...the more incompetent and unaware they seem to be.

its great like everyone is saying that bangbros passwords are everywhere ... have you ever found a working bangbros pass? for sure you can see them everywhere, but get a working one is like a miracle ... so all whats it about is free promotion :2 cents:

Friend of mine used to send me HUGE lists of passes for bangbros and nasty sites. It's nothing new with them. If they actually used strongbox or something, you might make some more sales since the password sharing would die down, but what do they care - they make bank regardless.

It's not at all unusual, from our research and experience. We've seen some larger
programs where the jump in sales alone right after Strongbox was installed paid for
the software within hours. The large flow of freeloaders who will often rip the site
can sometimes burn several Mbps. I can't give specific numbers for any specific
client, of course, but I can say that for the larger programs like Twistys and
Netvideogirls Strongbox makes a BIG difference.

Yeah that's common. Strongbox won't allow that, of course, so we regularly
see a bunch of people busted trying that when Strongbox is first installed.
Apparently "the other guys" don't catch that.

I can't believe that Bangbros isnt using Strongbox or something similar. It would be nice if Bangbros replied to their affiliates in this thread and let us know how they plan to address this password-sharing problem. thanks :thumbsup

Also, other program owners and affiliate managers feel free to post in here what password-sharing protection you are using for your sites. I am alot more inclined to promote programs that have password security than not. :)

Working stolen passes for their sites have been published in the trading forums for years. I've tried to contact them several times about this issue without any luck. I'd hate to imagine how much impact these widely published stolen passes has on their bandwidth bill. It's pretty bad when you can just search in Google and immediately find working passes.

i appreciate the concern you have for stolen pws, etc. but to say we don't care or don't do anything is ridiculous. we approach this very seriously, and have been ever since we've been around. realize that EVERY paysite has this problem, and yeah you can argue "oh we find more of Bang Bros pws" we have things set up to try and prevent this as much as possible. you can argue that we don't, but fact of the matter is i hate it as much as much as you do. i've already spoken with ray, who msged me. we are always open to adding more security. but this will always be a problem and we will always have to come up with ways to combat it.

taken care of. Yes, there are a LOT of bangbros passwords out there, I'm sure
we have at least a thousand in our database, and some of them have been shared
for a long time. So perhaps in the past they haven't been as vigilant as they could be,
but they are working on getting it taken care of. I'm sure that in the next few days
Steve will be posting that it's been taken care of.

I think all affiliate programs should start implementing a good system to prevent multiple ips from gaining access to member's areas.
