i just read that story too and was blown away by the fact that someone born in the
1800's was still around as of a couple days ago. now the oldest person is in China and was born in 1895

In her final years, she passed her days watching her favorite TV program, "The Jerry Springer Show."

Damn, and she was seven years from living to be the oldest person in history!

My friend's grandfather died half a year before reaching 100. I think he was the oldest person I knew.

No kidding huh.....she has seen it all....well maybe :-)
