What do you want to see in a webmaster area these days?

designing a new program and I'm curious - what do you guys think is most essential to have in a webmaster section?

what kind of ads
what kind of galleries
anything else?

Banner ads of all sizes, including skyscrappers. FHGs, rss feeds for blogs, hosted FLV for legal tube sites, zip files of content for blogs etc. Those geo location ads seem to do pretty well.

That's just what I look for, I'm sure someone that's been around longer will have more input.

being able to export out the pornstars in the galleries, etc. Being able to select _NEW_ galleries, creatives, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.

Good stats. campaign tracking. etc. Promotools are overrated (imho), I always prefer to do my own.

why don't you ever post over at jbm? i think at this at this point, it's more your style. love gfy and all, but, maybe think of giving it a shot.

JBM is a shit board with very little real traffic. GFY is the industry leader period. Would not make any sense to go from a biz board to pretty much what amounts to some guys blog about his life IMHO

Tube content < 3min videos, updated via xml feeds ;)

lots of ads of various sizes is important and often overlooked...

too many programs have site after site but then only have 2 banners for them LOL

Here is my list:

Embed videos, odd sized rotative banners, fhg zip export tool ( yes some of us still submit galleries) and RSS!!!

Hosted FLV for legal tube sites with min of 3+ mins, max of 5mins.

I would say the resources I see the least, that I would like to see more of are:

Free hosted Flv's
Jquery Ads (Im pop ups etc)
Good looking ads in large quantities

For me personally, these are a few features I desire in an affiliate program, that I don't see as much as I would like to.

content zips (pic and video) with regular updates of new content
gallery export
variety of ad sizes (not just standard sizes, throw in some odd sizes too)
FLV export
campaigns
accurate stats

As many different sizes as possible for banners. Good quality banners that will grab peoples attention in 2009, not some shitty flashing CLICK HERE gif. Hosted galleries that work, are fast and are also high quality. Sponsors nowadays still have 2mb files and 15 seconds, go to 30 seconds per clip and 3-4mb, make it quality... people can download your files in seconds nowadays. Good paysites with good promo content or members area access to custom their own. If you can, its good to offer custom promo content too, people always love that. In the end just have a product you believe in and others will believe it too.

I wanna see links showing me the top webmaster and the page or site all their sales are coming from :)

actual unique content and sites that make a surfer rob a subway in order to afford a membership - the rest is froth.

- unique content
- hosted flv's or embeds
- morphing rss feeds
