It takes a lot to get a standard person pissed off enough to take action. Last year the Democrats and Independents did it with the election, this year Republicans and a good number of Independents are doing it with tea parties, town hall meetings, and now this... which I have a feeling is just the beginning.

I'm not much for protesting, but both last summer/fall and now this year are very interesting to watch. Whether you agree with protesters or not, you have to give them credit for doing something more then sitting on their sofa griping.

Like this current protest, it is being covered by every major us network.. not hard to read the signs. Vast amount of miss information, lies and pure slander painted all over them.

I don't think it is a race thing. I'm sure there are some racists in the crowd, but you get that anywhere you get a crowd. I think it is a partisan thing. I think the whole tea party movement started out on its own and had good intentions, but I think it has been taken over by the republicans who are now using it as a tool to reconnect with their base.

The signs people have a freakin amazing... and most of the speakers are crazy. "This is not the America my dad died for" (of course it was under Bush) "New leaders that tell us the truth" (yeah, Bush told the truth) "No more bailouts, 'Obama' has to stop"...


It would be one thing if they actually protested the fed reserve, the entire tax system, all gov control or even real Constitutional stuff, or maybe the extreme rights they lost under bush.. actually stuff that would change our Country.

This isn't just conservatives, or just about Obama, or just about health care. The rallies weren't originally about health care at all. It's about the government taking over every facet of our lives! When are you people going to get it? I get called a right-wing nut job on here all the time. Well pay attention I have a picture to the left insinuating that Bush enjoys a gay threesome. (real picture BTW) I voted for Obama. It didn't take very long to figure out how wrong I was for doing so. Both are pieces of shit.
