Ccbill 900 bug ..... Are you not getting paid ? Is ccbill stealing from you?

Checked out my telephone transactions to day......

ran a report on the whole year to date these are the results.....

I searched

Date Range Applies To: = transaction date

Transaction Type: = reconciled

the results are

Total transactions
$4,950.00
198

Chargebacks
$375.00
15
7.58%

Net
$4,575.00
183
92.42%

HOWEVER THESE HAVE NEVER BEEN PAID TO MY ACCOUNT EVER (4,575)!!! NEVER RECIEVED ONE PAYMENT FOR TELEPHONE BILLING.......CONTACTED CCBILL ON AUGUST 18TH TALKED TO ADAM KERWIN AND HE NOTIFIED ME THAT THEIR PROGRAMING DEPARTMENT SAID IT WAS A BUG. BUT TILL THIS DAY THEIR SYSTEM IS REPORTING THE SAME THING. FUNNNY THING IS WHEN YOU DO THE SAME SEARCH BUT YOU DO RECONCILED DATE INSTEAD OF TRANSACTION DATE THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE ONLY RECONCILED ON TRANSACTION. ONE WHOLE MONTH AND NO INFORMATION FROM CCBILL.

I HAVE HAD OVER 10,000 WORTH OF 900 SIGN UPS IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS AND NEVER RECIEVED A DIMED. JUST A WARNING TO THE REST OF THE WORLD DONT FUCK WITH THERE TELEPHONE BILLING. FURTHER STEPS ARE BEING TAKEN AND WILL KEEP YOU GUYS INFORMED

i would say even posting the question of ccbill stealing is pretty fucked up. that almost implies it is intentional and they would risk everything to steal piss ant phone money.

i am interested in the bug though and will be checking some stats myself.

DavieVegas 09-14-2009 12:55 AM

uh oh....I dont know much about this but sig spot!

Matyko 09-14-2009 12:56 AM

Wow! As far as I know CCBill are good people, I can hardly imagine they screw anyone over, so I am sure this case will get resolved properly.

jdotdepp 09-14-2009 01:04 AM

I have contacted them numerous times they have always been straight on everything except this ....... when you run a large site and you have 10,000 worth of 900 signups in the past few months that isnt petty money. When you contact ccbill they play dumb and havent been able to tell me in 30 days what money has been collected and what hasnt . They claim none has been collected but the reports say there has been collections and charge backs. But they dont pay me........but they do deduct the chargebacks? yeah right

jdotdepp 09-14-2009 01:07 AM

somebody tell me the last time they recieved 900 money from ccbill

hypedough 09-14-2009 01:12 AM

Did you call them or just ICQ them?

jdotdepp 09-14-2009 01:13 AM

i have called them over 10 times across the span of the last 30 days

jdotdepp 09-14-2009 01:20 AM

ccbill has been a great company however they have prolonged fixing this error so i feel like this was a last resort to getting the problem solved..........hopefully some one from there will be able to take alook into this.

Phallus Fondue 09-14-2009 01:33 AM

i can almost assure you that if you get ahold of corvette at ccbill or wait for him or another to post in this thread you will have everything fixed to your satisfaction quickly.

i checked when i first posted as i said i needed to check stats. i do not do many ccbill 900 sales but did get some money paid 2 months ago. i only use ccbill 900 as a final option in my cascade of choices.

I remember (vaguely at best) back when I had my paysites going it took MONTHS to get the payments for the Web900.

IT WAS NOT BECAUSE OF CCBILL MIND YOU

But as it was explained to me, (again I'm sketchy as it was a few years back lol)

It COULD take 3-6 months to obtain payments from the web900 option, and allot of times they end up being "non payments" (Chargebacks) from what I recall the major holdup is between the phone company (billing people) to collect the money from the surfer and then forwarding that money to CCBILL.

If I also remember correct my old rep (Mike??) said he never liked the web900 for that reason and if I'm not mistaken they THOUGHT about scrapping it years back (Or maybe it was just the rep's thought that it should be scraped)

as stated here already though, your best bet is to speak with Corvette

a company like ccbill that supposedly has their act together wouldn't bother offering web900 if there were issues collecting from the phone company. After all, that is their bread and butter: payments.
It sounds more like they're either not paying attention to what they're doing, or someone there is pocketing the money.

whatever, I'm not going to sit here and argue whether or not CCBILL is doing something shady, BUT I do know from my own dealings with them in years past that my web900 payments were ALWAYS "late" and with the explanation given to me and my own dealings with the phone companies it makes PERFECT SENSE to me.

I know MANY people who put off paying their landline phone bills, as well as people who have fought and pulled the "my child ran up the bill and used 900 numbers"

In the later case the bill CAN be tied up for months while the phone companies get it sorted out.

So with that said... re-read my first post, and this one.

HOW exactly CAN it be CCBILL's fault that a 3rd party has not collected / paid them?

How are they to "Pay Attention" to another companies private matters?

How can they "pocket" money that has not been given to them?

CCBILL is NOT web900, it is just a service they offer to their clients as a collection method.

I have to say, if you're owed $10k and found a bug, and you brought it to gfy, without "going up the chain in ccbill."

You would be pretty stupid....

corvette 09-14-2009 07:41 AM

hi jdotdepp, can you drop me an email with your account # and contact information? well check it out and get right back to you, if that works

web900 is not a large portion of their bread and butter though. I have also been told that it can take an extra long time for the phone companies to issue the payments to ccbill.

I seriously doubt anyone would be embezzling money from them either, especially out of peoples accounts.

To cbill that is pennies. It's pretty small change.

No offense but this statement was pretty dumb...

First of all... CCBill is fully intact and well maintained... not "supposedly"

Second... Phone billing takes time and this is yet just another option that ccbill offers their clients to receive payments. How dare they... right?

Corvett will sort this all out... I know that for a fact!

For you to be here so long, czarina, to even imply that ccbill might pocket money is absurd.

BFT3K 09-15-2009 10:28 AM

And the answer to this mix-up was?.....

Im pretty damn sure this is the issue... already well explained... just not by ccbill themselves...

Ill lay money on it being the reason...

jdotdepp 09-16-2009 08:46 PM

here is the official response

Dear Webmaster

I can see why it?s easy to think you?re not being paid out for telephone billing transactions. However, I can assure you that is not the case. When we spoke about a bug in our system, if you remember, I explained to you that it was a reporting bug, not a payment related bug.

In the CCBill Contract- Addendum G that you agrred to in order to process telephone billing transactions, you agree to an approximate 90-120 day payout for these transactions. Without question, part the of reason for timing of the payout is the fragmented nature of the orgin of these transactions. I understand we?re beyond the approximate payout date, but this is to ensure that we?re able to collect the highest percentage of these transactions as possible. The payout date is approximate, and we do everything possible to maximize revenue for you, our client.

Moving forward, today you received a telephone billing payout. You were paid for the very first telephone billing transaction on your account, dated March 8th, 2009. Telephone billing payouts are current through March 2009. Your account is inline with payouts for other accounts. I can assure you, you have not been passed up for a payout where other accounts have been paid.

Today?s payout was the 7th of the year. So they?re happening on a semi-regular basis, as always. Obviously you have a substantial amout of telephone billing yet to be paid out. Telephone billing transactions have never been paid out on a weekly basis like credit card and online checking transactions. But please be assured, when we payout the telephone billing transactions for April, May, Jun, etc, you?re going to receive your payout with everybody else.

*Please reply if you have any questions*

Thank you-

Adam Kerwin

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basically what i get from this is there is a reporting error, no way for me to check what ive been paid for and what has been paid to ccbill, they havent fixed this issue in a month and it still exist.

Second the sentence "But please be assured, when we payout the telephone billing transactions for April, May, Jun, etc, you?re going to receive your payout with everybody else. "

Means the pay out everyone all at once!!! hence the phrase with everyone else , not when they recieve "my" money. Well that begs the question who decides when they pay everyone? IF THEY HAVE MY MONEY I WANT IT I DONT WANT TO WAIT TILL THE NEXT WEBMASTER GETS HIS MONEY TO GET MINE.

All this says is our system is fucked , you cant accuratley check your stats because ccbill has a error in it. They say ive been paid 7 times!!! not according to my check reports or my telephone transaction reports. So how do i know this for reel? This wasnt a mix up its a fuck up, If your going to hold a couple thousand dollars of mine till you guys decide to take it out do me favor and just take my yearly fee out of that.

After Shock Media 09-16-2009 09:07 PM

sounds to me like they said it takes 90-120+ days to get phone payouts. That you have gotten a small handful very recently and should start seeing a regular flow of them with payouts in the future.

Could be wrong, perhaps you can give corvette permission to post and explain what is going on with your account.
