I always open his threads about pics.

I don't think you can really call anyone a best photographer though. I don't look at most of the "Hey shot this girl for so and so....blah blah.... " cuz it's porn, and well, after 10 years, i'm pretty sick of looking at porn. Although beautifully done, you can only look at so many porn pics.

What Quantum-X does is in a league of it's own.

Dean Capture is one of my fav adult photogs.

Quantum-X adventures are just that, captured, frozen adventures.

who's the guy on here that has photography of old air fields in what used to be the soviet union?

I remember seeing some of his work, the air fields were run down with grass growing through parts of the concrete, and I remember a Stalin statue.

Whoever that is, ive been trying to find him for a while on here but don't remember who it is lol.

personally porn photos do not interest me, nor do the techniques people use to get good close up pussy photos... I buy lots of content and make pron pages all the time, but it interests me very little.

Quantum X photos I stare at like I am looking for waldo.

Awesome stuff for sure...I only recently discovered I really enjoy photography and can't stop going out with the camera. I would love to one day be doing something of that quality. Though, I am finding candids and, oddly, food photography are apparently where my interest and talent collides.

I love Dean Capture's work, and I'm not familiar with Quantum-x's work, and they both obviously have serious chops. But their work is completely different.

Asking a bunch of webmasters who the "best" photographer seems about as smart as asking a bunch of blind men.

The thread is about GFY photographers, not photographers in general... in art school I studied lots of photographers.

However, if you want to know who my favorite photographer is OFF OF GFY, that would be Dieter Appelt. I have his books and have admired his work for many years, last I saw his book First Edition was going for $250, I own it.

IMHO his self portraits have never been topped

Looks like you went to a bit of effort to upload all of those. I'd agree with you entirely, but take a moment or two to check out the title of the thread.

The title of the thread is, "Best photographer to grace GFY? Nominate your favorite!" You may be a better photographer than Dean Capture, for example, but how could anyone deduce that when your subjects (to take just one aspect) are so different? The question itself is meaningless. Is Eric Clapton a better guitarist than Django Reinhardt? Or Stevie Ray Vaughn? Or Jimi Hendrix? Or Segovia?

Answer: post your favorite gfy photographer then move along ;)

It's a qualitative subject. Everyone has a preference. In terms of photography, I was always inspired by the Pavia brothers (Tom in particular). Ansel Adam's control over exposure and composure are always inspiring, as well.

Due to Marcop's post, I humbly request to change my vote. I say Salvador Dali is now the best photographer to grace GFY. It's a shame he didn't post any Man Ray, though (unless one of those pics is a work I don't recognize).

both Mutt and Dean are great.. and have a different style of shooting. It is hard because some people shoot great landscape, some people shoot great glamour style ( dean) and then mutt shoots much more met-art style style..

I love shooting landscapes.. however they don't produce the same income as my adult or main stream work..
