Doesn't say what he died of. Probably kidney failure or heart attack. I will probably follow in his footsteps, fantastic chef and fellow wine appreciator :)

I believe the actual cause of death was a heart attack, although he'd had bowel cancer for some time and suffered through 5 major operations.
