When you're out on your boat. Do you insist you be called Skipper or Captain?
My close friends and family are allowed to call me skipper, or skip for short but I'd be insulted if a coworker or subordinate were to call me anything except Captain, at least on my boat that is.

I could careless, it's a boat.
I grew up on a fishing lake, a lot of the guides call themselves capt name. I can't recall anyone every actually calling them a captain though. |
Always captain.

Why can't they call you by your first name?
Do you also make non-family/friends bow down to you when in your presence? When growing up ... my dad was the drunk guy driving the boat. It was a different time. Back when the coast guard gave you a funny look if you weren't drunk behind the wheel. |

the only way you'd be on my boat is playing a role of an anchor |

Beside that, Iīd do the same. And to answer the question: The whores on my boat are obliged to call me "master". Every other passenger or crew calls me Frank. |
neither.
i'm the First Officer. I can also go by First Mate or even Second in Command. whichever the case, the crew knows me as "The One in charge". |
I prefer "Daddy"

makes no difference to me
