I've searched for definitions online but they're way over my head- can some one simplify it for me? :Oh crap

it's a link on a page that does not rotate with others. it is "hard" wired into the webpage. StS

What Ray said. It's basically a link you add yourself manually.

It's a "direct" link and not a script link.

If I give you a hard link it would be a normal url, domain.com/blah.html

Otherwise it would be a redirect link. Like a linking code.


So if we do hard link exchanges, neither of us would use a script to track traffic but just put direct (hard) link to each other from our websites.

A typed in url on a web page= hard link!
