There's no such thing as evolution. Everyone knows that everything was created exactly to a plan 4000 years ago

Just a freak of nature :)

I'm surprised this is the first mutation we've seen come out of China...

After Shock Media 09-15-2009 02:00 PM

First I thought it was just odd and was perhaps a foot of something it ate that broke through the snake - notice the body lump.
However seeing that they took it to a science center for autopsy and more studies changes all that.

I too would also see it as evolution, though others would just call it a mutation. No matter how you slice it though it basically proves evolution.

I did like this part of the story.
"A more common mutation among snakes is the growth of a second head, which occurs in a similar way to the formation of Siamese twins in humans.

Such animals are often caught and preserved as lucky tokens but have very little chance of surviving in the wild anyway, especially as the heads have a tendency to attack each other."

The last line made me lol.

to be honest its not all that strange.

snakes are reptiles that lost there legs years ago.

they probably still have leg dna in them, like we do for a tail.

and as with us somtimes a tail apears, probably the same with the snake.

I was willing to believe that a snake could grow a leg, but....

"Dean Qiongxiu, 66, said she discovered the reptile clinging to the wall of her bedroom with its talons in the middle of the night.

"I woke up and heard a strange scratching sound. I turned on the light and saw this monster working its way along the wall using his claw," said Mrs Duan of Suining, southwest China. "

Seriously??? C'mon now!

Thought they meant the floor and the wall. Not elevated, but like in the corner between flooring and wall [where trim goes].

I think you might be right. But it's still an incredibly bizarre visual!

i bet its fake. you see this shit and never hear what they discovered

96ukssob 09-16-2009 11:11 PM

genetic flaw...

BUT may point out the snakes have evolved from land creatures like lizards and the leg shows a recessive gene that has been dormant for centuries

/geekness :winkwink:
