I think he means like web-cam-sex if im correct...

As regards the domain value it would be low..but im not into seo or search engines so have no idea of the effect of 2 - - ..

woj 09-17-2009 07:19 AM

the domain is most likely worthless but for seo wouldn't make much difference....

katharos 09-17-2009 07:20 AM

i know sites like web-cam-sex are doing good in serps, so i bought live--sex.com and want to know if its worth to build the domain or if its useless for seo, anybody have any experience with domains with -- in it? i am talking only about seo purposes ... thanks for your inputs everyone :)

Agent 488 09-17-2009 07:22 AM

study the serps. do you see any raking with two? that is the only proof, the rest speculation.

sextoyking 09-17-2009 07:22 AM

Are you talking about IDN domains??

katharos 09-17-2009 07:25 AM

no idn domain. and about serps, i dont see any domain in search engines with two --, but all domains i have been checking are only parked ones, so maybe nobody tried that before?

Agent 488 09-17-2009 07:28 AM

or more if it looks like spam, you think it may be spam, it most likely is spam.

that you had to ask it is probably proof enough.

I think the question is about a dotcom domain that has two hyphens immediately adjacent.

I have never seen one rank high in the SERPs.

madawgz 09-17-2009 12:45 PM

i really dont think two -- will work, you would have to put some serious effort into link building, good luck if you do! :)
