Are Tube Sites Really Worth The Effort?
 

Just by accident I was browsing an adult website that
had a link for tube scripts, so I took a look.

Tubes seem almost too good to be true. Reasonable cost.
The use of other people's content and bandwidth.

Anyone can do it.

Yeah, right.

I'm skeptical.

What's the real deal?

Where's the money in tubes? Sponsors? Traffic? Or just
as a good link {PR rating} to your other sites?

I'm not looking for industry secrets. Just an overview
from those more experienced in the adult biz than myself.

Guess there's no substitue for hard work...and no shortcuts, either.

Well, i guess if so many people are making them probably these tubes are worth it. Why would they put all their work in a worthless thing?

i think it would be best to wait until someone who has no experience running one to chime in whether they make money or not.

Tubes are worth it only if you put forth the effort yourself. All those sites out there that are made with 500000 sponsor-imported videos in 3 minutes are worthless and will never see any real return imho.

SE's love tubes, but you have to love them back with good unique text on each and every video.

There are a lot of surfers getting into the game these days and many of them are throwing their money away.

If you want a real tube you need to buy a good script, Buy full DVD rights and set it up with full movies. I wouldn't want to spend that kind of money just to give away free porn.

because it's the new and cool thing to do, if I had to guess 98% or so of tube sites don't actually make any reasonable income for the amount of time and work involved in building and maintaining them

It is never stupid to ask a question. If you don't ask, you don't
learn. The first into the game isn't necessarily the one who will

Tubes make money if you put in work.

People done know how to run a large " tube " ( free ) site and hence why its not successful , but free content is not a fad, things are changing on content is viewed online. Alternative revenue streams are being innovated .....

Tube sites in all forms have their place, just like TGP's and free sites do.

Either fake or real.

Principle with tube sites is the same as with TGPs. You use free hosted content - you fail.
