Not really my kind of music, but I have seen Staind live once, and they do put on a pretty good live show.

The best current bands right now are the garage blues-rock bands like the White Stripes, The Black Keys, The Muggs, the Redwalls, Eric Lindell, The Raconteurs, Thee Shams, etc...

I thought the same thing when I first heard them; I guess they're an acquired taste. Some tunes do sound very WEIRD though. I like their cover of death letter:



It amazes me how Jack can take the blues, which are so damn simple, and make them sound so interesting and original.

They play that great. But of course that is not their song so does not really count.

Yeah, was just kidding. I do like a few of their numbers, but 98% of it is crap.

I'm not a fan of any specific bands. I like a lot of different stuff, both classic and trance. I do listen to a lot of Korn, Rob Zombie, Metallica and Pain. But I cant say there is one band where I like more than 50% of their tracks, but the only one that come close is the swedish band Pain. Their two albums rocked

Correct. No doubt the beatles influenced oasis but they took it and improved upon it.

Wow that was really good. I wish they would tone down the red/white visuals as it is extremely annoying.

Like I say, I never listened to Staind in my own time, A ways back my brother had an extra ticket, to of all bands Nickelcrap, and they were the opening act. I wasn't doing shit, and a lot of people from town were going up to party in the city so I said fuck it and went along, the ticket wasn't costing me anything anyways.

I still have to say I was pretty impressed by Staind as a live band. I'll give them credit for that, they are great live. After that show I don't think I ever listened to them again though. :1orglaugh

They aren´t a Nu metal band, but honestly, Behemoth is an amazing polish band, and this video is excellent
