3) Always wanting to help me with my kids

So everyone out there - be warned - Jean-Francois is just one of those people you need to keep an eye out for. Coz he is one of the very few that WON'T screw you over and you need on your team

I got burned many times on that point by many people.

One of the best indicators of the quality of a person is watching how they treat people who they have no vested interest in. It's easy to get led astray by someone who wants to be your friend and wants you to see certain things, but as you get to know someone watch closely at how they treat the people they don't need to suck up to, or hit on. How they treat those people is a clear indicator of who you are dealing with. Also watch what happens when things go wrong. Things always go wrong, human nature - it's how people deal with it that determines what kind of person they REALLY are. Anyone can be a good person when things are good, the REAL determination is what kind of person they are when things are bad, and if they try and help others when they are in a bad situation themself. :2 cents:

Wow i couldn't agree more. I've taken the time to help SO many people on GFY that i didn't know & who straight up told me they were new & had no idea what they were doing. I literally can't count how many I've spent hours helping online. I even take new guys under my wing at shows, bring them around with us. Just because there's nothing more lame & pretentious than hanging out with the same 5 people at every single show.

More people need to do this type of thing!

I was referring to my problems with distinguishing people who are just sucking your cock for the money and status and only care about themselves and those that are good friends.

When things get bad - and you make payments for friends and sacrifice medical drugs for your family to try and help them and honor your agreements and those same friends don't give two fucking shits about it and only care about themselves and their gain, those arn't friends, those are pieces of human garbage. Esp when you lost more than 2X as much as they did and still even offered the whole thing to them giving them my share and they refuse and just DEMAND all money back when that's not even an option in the contract..... The nice thing is when things get bad - garbage usually ends up telling you they were ONLY your friend cause you were paying for things. It hurts but it really shows you their true colors. That's the one I'd be worried about looking out for....



I can go on and on about garbage, but why? One of the true signs of garbage is it does everything it can to make you think it doesn't look like garbage.

I'm not the brightest guy, but at least experience helps me to learn who my real friends are.

Truth is that relationships are mostly unique between the two people involved in them. One person might be a complete asshole to one, and the best friend the other has ever had. Everyone is usually multi-faceted and not so simplistic as all good or all bad.
