I'm from michigan too, but up north.... I visit downstate a lot though, might be taking a trip to grand rapids this coming weekend if anyone is in that area or wants me to come crash at thier place i'd be willing to fuck some models for ya!

man if i could do it all over again i would have gone to U of Michigan. I discovered it after i was out of school.
What a great campus, great city, and of course the Big House and the hockey arena.

I'd have stayed in school for 10 years to do a PHD in something obscure just to stay there.

I actually went there for the first time because a family member went to be treated at the University Medical Center. So I had lots of time to hang out on campus and in the area around it.

Great hospital too, it was beautiful as hospitals go from what I remember of it.

I lived in Troy until I was Twenty. Once I left I never went back execpt to vist family and friends

Personally, I mostly hate it here. I resent the fact that I can't drive year round with the top down. I hate shoveling snow. I'd be somewhere south in a heartbeat if my wife could handle being away from our families.

Ya know what? I said that also, and I moved.. I was out of state for all of about a year and I could not wait to get back to Michigan! One of the easiest places to earn a good buck in the country. I hire the neighbor kid to shelp the snow, so no worries there. Plus.. the chics are frinkin HOT here. Better yet... they are agreeable! :Graucho

There are some hotties everywhere, sure, but this is one of the fattest states out there. I think we're second to Wisconsin or something like that.

Otherwise, I agree that it's not hell here... I'm pretty well traveled around the US and there are tradeoffs everywhere you go, that's for sure.

Personally, I love the change of seasons. No earthquakes, no hurricanes, just about every outdoor activity you can think of and great people.

I have lived in alot of states over the years from a few months to several years and michigan has always been home.

Michigan native here too..however i needed a better climate and a better football team so i moved to Wisconsin..:winkwink:
