My hair was getting long ... so it was time to donate it to Locks of Love.

donating hair is really a nice move in theory... the problem is the place you donated too likely just sold it for a quick grand or two.

It is 90F in Northern NV. I wish it was cold. This is awful weather.

About to do the very same myself, well not ginger (I do have a soul afterall :1orglaugh j/k ). The quirky irony is that not only have I dealt with cancer once, I have the shit again. I tell ya an author could not write my life and have people think it was real.

Appreciate what you did with your hair. It is a much bigger sacrifice for a woman to do.

Guess I could have done the same with my hair since the last time I got my hair cut I got like 18 inches cut off. That was a hard thing for me to do, but my hair is long again so it's all good. haha

If you deal with the charity service, like she did it is very worth it. Despite what a few jaded people may say. I will be cutting mine again for them. It is a very honest and open charity.

My niece donated her locks when she was 8, lucky kid had ridiculously fast growing hair and donated 18" she recently did it again at 11 and said she'll do it as often as she can.

My sister has a different shade of red hair than I do, much darker. Last week she gave 10" as well to Locks of Love ... 2% Ginger population my ass, we're growing it one wig at a time!
