RealityCash down for 12 hours.
 

Here's my situation. I have a WorldSex spot that I have redirected to RealityCash for the Friday / Saturday / Sunday $100 PPS promotion. And Friday evening when I logged in to check my stats, I couldn't reach RealityCash. I figured maybe it was a problem on my end, so I waited a few hours. Tried back later, still can't get in. Then I called some friends of mine, and they can't reach it either.

And to add insult to injury, it's not just the affiliate site that's down... it's the entire network of paysites. But this is the one I'm concerned about:

Everyone is in Amsterdam apparently right now. I can't reach anyone to help me.

Nobody is responding on ICQ. What would you do, if you were me?

It was a planned outage (server moves) for Navisite. The original window was 8pm PST Friday night until noon on Saturday.

I saw an affiliate email from Realitycash that mentioned it.. but beyond that I was aware of it due to having a server on Navisite.

The servers that RealityCash resides on are being moved to another datacenter. We originally were told this would have minimal downtime, but we are now finding out it may be longer.

They are going to be taking them down at 8pm PST tonight and bringing them back up as quickly thereafter as they can.

We value your business and wanted to get this out to you in case you want to make changes on your side.

In an effort to make it up to you we are going to do an expanded promo for you all next week. We will announce the new expanded promo on Monday. The current promo will still run throughout the weekend as well.

Yes it was down longer then expected due to the datacenter move.

We will expand the promo next week to make up for the down time.

why 8pm friday? Wouldn't it have made A LOT more sense to start at like 3am sunday?

Because the sites I'm sending traffic to are down... my money is being wasted. I understand you're extending the promotion, but my ad spot runs until Tuesday morning. And I had no way to anticipate this, and I currently have no way to change the links.

This is a problem for me.

Again I apologize for the short notice and downtime. We notified everyone as soon as we found out.

I understand the position you are in. I too am an affiliate that has my own sites, etc and I have run into the same problem in the past with other affiliate programs.
