Messy or tidy desk?

I have never been a neat freak but at the moment I feel like my desk is being taken over but a pile of paperwork. Not to mention a zillion other things that are somehow making their way onto my desk.

Do you normally have a tidy or messy desk?

area51 - BANNED FOR LIFE 09-29-2009 06:23 AM

It's usually messy but I always prefer tidy, I'm just too lazy to clean it.

Fletch XXX 09-29-2009 06:23 AM

tidy, all thats scattered across is some notebooks and highliter. two monitors, two keyboards and a knife LOL

bns666 09-29-2009 06:27 AM

u-Bob 09-29-2009 06:29 AM

semi-tidy :)

TheLegacy 09-29-2009 06:30 AM

I work from home and my desk - house is always clean. I have always believed that the state of the environment you work or live in is a reflection of what is inside of you

Helen 09-29-2009 06:31 AM

I can't work unless it's tidy

i agree. my desk is kept immaculate, cleared of everything and wiped once/week and no food allowed in office!

Sosa 09-29-2009 06:37 AM

I try to clean it pretty clean and do a pretty good job. Once I move my office downstairs, I'd like to get a new desk but 2k for it is a bit much on a new one right now.

tranza 09-29-2009 07:02 AM

pornguy 09-29-2009 07:32 AM

Middle. Just cleaned it the other day and I have a few things spread from moving back to this desk.. But it will be cleaned by the end of the day.

czarina 09-29-2009 07:34 AM

messy, but not tooooo messy. Right now I have some pencilholders my son made for me (no pencils in them), my eye drops, a couple of notebooks and miscellaneous disks on it. It's not much but looks very disorganized.

Vicious_B 09-29-2009 07:49 AM

I am messy/tidy

Denaz 09-29-2009 01:06 PM

Starts of Tidy, and progressively gets messier as time goes by, until i cant even take it anymore and have to tidy it up again. The process forever repeats itself lol.

whiskey dick 09-29-2009 01:09 PM

Messy, empty cigarette packs and Diet Mt Dew cans everywhere. And a stapler that hasn't had any staples in it for years. I clean it off but stuff adds up quick.

J. Falcon 09-29-2009 01:41 PM

As tidy as possible.

plsureking 09-29-2009 04:47 PM

Spunky 09-29-2009 07:39 PM

I would say a organized mess

Agent 488 09-29-2009 07:40 PM

goat entrails, condoms and empty bottles of schlitz.

PeeperCash 09-29-2009 07:46 PM

clean it up then goes down hill from there

adultebusiness 09-29-2009 07:54 PM

when somebody tidies up my desk like my girlfriend or my mother who like surprise visits, i would eventually get pissed because i can't find my stuff anywhere in my desk anymore.

VeriSexy 09-29-2009 09:06 PM

Messy, but in order ;)

96ukssob 09-29-2009 09:09 PM

depends on what is going on in my life. if its chaotic, then it may appear messy, but organized, otherwise as tidy as I can get it

gecko 09-30-2009 12:05 AM

My desk is pretty messy

Persius 09-30-2009 12:19 AM

Huge LCD monitor + wireless keyboard +mouse + bose speakers + iced coffee

Clean desk = more concentration on work:2 cents:

yeah..that is generally the case with me too. There are piles but I know what is in each pile and why. Last night it all reached critical mass though and I had to actually sort everything out before I went insane. I don't mind mess but cluttered freaks me out after a while.
