Ok I'm sure I'm going to piss off plenty of people with that title, but have you really listened to any of his mixtapes/album straight through? The sounds and words used, basically just the entire production is literally mind blowing. I mean it's not even really rap or hiphop it's just great music! If anything a whole new genre! I get the same trippy feeling listening to his stuff as when I was listening to Pink Floyd stoned for the first time.. and I don't even need to be stoned. I'd dare to say he is better than them but eh.. we'll see lol

I wouldn't be suprised or sad if this guy took over music as we know it shit..

Who dat? Never heard of him. Must be getting old.

I mean he is the Beatles of rap in terms of how creative the productions are and all the trippy sounds that are placed into each song. It's almost meditating, and for the usual rap listener this guy is a huge breath of fresh air. But yeah he hasn't had time to make an impact on the music biz yet, and might not ever since I've read that this will be his first and last album :(

Also because he doesn't create a song in the same way the typical hiphop artist does, which is to lay vocals over a beat and then finalize it, he will produce the instrumental around his lyrics and make sure they fit together like a glove and this allows for a lot of breaks whereever he feels and it really just sounds more like a solid song unlike the typical "rhyme over this premade beat" stuff.

I know his lyrics are shit, which is why I ignored him for so long, but now I realize it doesn't matter how cheesy they are it's about the key words he's using and the feeling you get listening to the song as a whole.

Lol, you ask who listens to this shit, in response to KMK, yet you post this thread? The guy sings through auto-tune, that can make a screaming baby sound like a artist...

Yeah I know he does lol, they also sample stuff in one song that sounds like The Beatles talking. I don't think he is the next Beatles or Pink Floyd, I just think he is THAT - of rap. Know what I mean? Rap is mostly (these days at least) about sampling classic music.. and he samples a lot of the trippy old shit I love, plus adds a lot of crazy sounds to each song.

He's not an auto-tune artist, actually I've been obsessed with his music lately and I can't even think of a single song by him where he uses auto-tune? Either way, he's most definitely not the type of artist that abuses the auto-tune crap and his shit just sounds great it's so calming and a huge breath for hiphop..
