NYC Photo Shops .. ?
 

Hey all.
Was planning on swinging past Adorama in a few days time to pick up some gear, but they're closed for the Jewish holidays.

Are there any other major decent NYC based photoshops?

Looking to replace some lenses..

I would say B&H as a top choice but they are Jewish as well.

US sounds a tad cheaper, come up to Canada and pay 1400 cdn :winkwink:

What you looking to pick up? I just picked up a nikkor 17-55 f/2.8, but took the fnac route (fingers still burning!). A bit stiff on zoom, but otherwise a fantastic fast lens

Canon 17-40 F4 L (my current one is fucked)
Canon 70-2000 F4 L (my friend took his one back home..)

If you've never been to B&H adjust your trip to make it there when they are open. You'll be happy you did.

I'm more of an adorama person. The prices between B&H, Adorama and 17th street photo supply are all the same, but the latter is open.. I guess they get my $ :D
