I found this site. According to this list Canada is #1 country to live in. Norway is #4. United States is #9.

Well, Norway has one of the highest tax rates in the world.
If you pay more than 50% of your income in taxes, then you better should expect to be living in a nice country.

Norway is an incredible place, had the chance to see most of the country for 2 months one summer

- beautiful scenery, you feel like you are in a postcard
- beautiful people, the women are some of the best on the world
- the 'big' cities were safe, clean, and ppl were friendly & could speak english pretty well
- as far as I could tell, there was super high standard of living for nearly everyone

Besides that it was a socialist nightmare hellhole lol

Norway i believe still has the highest percentage of millionaires pr capita

Actually, the reason isn't the tax rate, it's the wealth.

Norway has a nominal GDP per capita of nearly $100k. Double that of the US, Austria, Australia, etc. It's just a very, very rich country.

The Scandinavian countries always perform well in these rankings. Ireland has also ranked high in recent years however the Irish economy is truly in the shitter right now.

I was just in Ireland, and no doubt - the economy is so bad there you can see it on people's faces. Its real bad.

norway is too cold in winter and has too many moskitos in summer. otherwise it looks like a nice place
