Favre vs. Packers: Monday night showdown

Favre, of course, played for Green Bay for 16 seasons before retiring following the 2007 season, only to change his mind and find the Packers were unwilling to bring him back.

He played last season for the New York Jets, retired again, changed his mind again, and then signed with Minnesota, one of Green Bay's NFC North rivals.

My money is on the Vikings tonight.

I've actually bet Green Bay simply because of the price.

He's not to old to pull off a win. Vikings have a good team, if he manages the offense right and tries not to force any throws(INTs) They should win. Should be close and a great game to watch

ahhhhhh....So that's why all of the employees and some of the patrons were wearing packers gear at the gym today.

Being from Wisconsin I'd like to say Green Bay, but I think the game boils down to Adrian Peterson. The packers just can't do anything against the run and Farve is a master at the check down to the back when he has to throw.

Aaron Rodgers is a very good QB, but the offensive........and it is offensive.........line can't hold off anybody.

I just don't see good things happening.

the media has made this out to be a favre v the pack extravaganza and i am afraid favre will take the bait and try to be superman about it all.

I bet on the Vikes! I feel bad for Brett even though he is an emotional baby. More than half of Wisconsin supports the Pack instead of him. That isnt how its supposed to be. Not the first few games against each other anyway.
