Hard Profits - needs GFY input b4 launch at Internext

Hello All

2 Years of my life have gone into building this new sponsor program, which will be officially launched at InterNEXT on January 6th, 2003

Please take the time to review our join page system, which uses our own billing system called MultiBill

A non-working preview of what will be released can be seen at http://www.HardProfits.com/

So cmon, kick me in the ass and show me all the mistakes.

Tell me what you hate and what you like (I really need both)

I have 7 designers standing by ready to make the changes you recommend

Go for it

I think everyone was shocked at how cool your site and program looks. Looks like a real winner if you ask me. Let me know when you are ready to push it hard. I can have you all set up with a Banner here on GFY to conincide with the launch at the show and get the ball rollin in a big way.

pentae 12-11-2002 05:40 PM

Hey i'm pretty impressed. I like all the billing options.

Good looking page. $105 per active member.. nice.

You will do well with this. :thumbsup

sherbert 12-11-2002 05:40 PM

Payment protection? Does that mean baseball bats and handguns? :(

My only curiousity was in the name 'hard profits' .. 'its hard to make profits with us' ?

hehe.. i guess i just look at everything with a negative slant. :)

Marcus 12-11-2002 05:47 PM

very nice!
Is this program in the states?

great potential man
your hard work is shown through these 2 years

i'll give it a try for sure!

Pipecrew 12-11-2002 05:53 PM

Alot of the sites I clicked on in your site portfolio have really grainy images if that helps

PaulSweet 12-11-2002 05:56 PM

I think it looks great and I like the amount of processing available - esp the Korean traffic.

psyko514 12-11-2002 06:00 PM

your program is very impressive, and you're very open about everything, which is very respectable.
you also have a great layout.

ZoiNk 12-11-2002 06:01 PM

Only problem I see if that I when I clicked join on one of your paysites, you have all the credit card logos. If I recall correctly, it violates Mastercard's terms to have their logo on your paysites.

says Retires instead of Retries.
no biggie, but you know those adult webmasters are anal-retentive.

m0rph3us 12-11-2002 06:06 PM

design on the webmaster program looks good but the sites, I donno about.

You're hoping on a 4 month avg retention on 39.95 from a 2.95 trial ? good luck with that. That's like 78% recurring. Those members' areas must have some really special stuff.

:2 cents:

MultiBill 12-11-2002 06:32 PM

Than you all so much for the positive feedback

mOrph3us - We pay $35 from every $39.95 we receive for the 1st three months. So id they stay 3 months, you get $105. If they stay 1 month, you get $35

psyko514 - We show retries to show you that we have tried to get the monthly fee from the subscriber, but we havent actually gotten our hands on their money for that month. All part of our attempt to show our affialites every part of every transaction we possibly can. Our aim is to be totally transparent. And thank you for your kind comments

ZoiNK - Good point on MasterCard. But you will note that actually isnt a MasterCard logo (we made it up ourselves, and it has ben approvebd by all our IPSP's legal teams). Just so you know, we have set up seperate master accounts for each type of transaction. This means, if MasterCard decide to chnage their billing systems, we only need to chnage the join system for them.

An even easier explanation is this. If iBill says that Visa wont allow celecrity sites for example, we could disable iBill/Visa and leave all the other cards up there. This has actually hapened with one of our sites where iBIll has said no to Visa on one type of site, and CCBill has said yes. OUr system just gives us awesome felixibility

Jive - We are redesigning our tour layout buttons as we speak :thumbsup

sherbert - Payment Protection means we designed Hard Profits to handle any crap with IPSP's and the Credit Card companies can throw our way - we hope to think we have designed the ultimate billing system for adult sites

Marcus - We are a company with offices in USA, and Australia and the Philippines. I am myself an Australian based in Brisbane. If you decide to try our system, I am more than happy to pass you some references from within the industry

Again - thank you all for your comments

Amputate Your Head - We have 60 sites in there, all over verying degrees of quality

Site design is always a weird thing. My first site I owned by myself (without partners that is) was http://www.sexpurity.com/ sold so well it was amazing. But looking back, I think the site is pretty crappy all in all.

I actally have about 300 sites all up now, and we are constantly amazed at how sites with very average designs go well... hmmmmm!

But I am open to design tips as well, and all feedback will be given to my graphic teams.

i completely understand why you show retries.
what i'm saying is that the particular image i posted has a typo in it.

it says RETIRES instead of RETRIES.

JohnnyUtah 12-11-2002 08:00 PM

You also have a minor miss up in your members area.
I dont know if it should be up yet...
But this is what I get when I log in....

2002/12export DOTEST=yes; /usr/bin/python /home/www/tools/hpstats/stat_sumaries.py test01 2002/05 2002/12 monthly
the file must be fucked up||

MultiBill 12-11-2002 08:22 PM

psyko514 - ooops :1orglaugh

JohnnyUtah - we actually had some preview data there earier with lots of saels etc in it, and someone joined up (even though we are only in preview mode) and thought they were entitled to the sales - aggghhh

So we quickly removed the preview data, and we will be uploading somehting new there shortly so people wont get confused so easily

Remeber guys - this is a preview only, not a functioning site yet

nocostporn 12-11-2002 08:33 PM

hate the webmaster interface, too busy.... but good luck, seems like everybody thinks they can roll out a program :winkwink:

Just the Village Idiot 12-11-2002 09:26 PM

How do you "guarantee" no shaving....

and when did the definition of active member change?

MultiBill 12-11-2002 09:26 PM

nocostporn - thx for the reply on our front end. That is one issue that always troubled us. How to get the message out clearly without overloading the user.

You should have seen our first attempt. You would have been there for days getting through it all. :1orglaugh

But we have to somehow show people that we really are different (and this is where I may pick you up on your point "seems like everybody thinks they can roll out a program"), as we have designed an whole new billing system that does things like:

1) Offers surfers more billing options to try
2) Offers surfers our processors in order of which IPSP is processing better at that moment
3) Gives surfers 5 languages on the join pages (with more to come)
4) Offers three different currencies
5) detects if a processor is having technical difficulties, and removes thier join pages from our system automatically

and the list goes on and on

Plus we are trying a slightly different Revenue sharing model, with considerably more billing information for our affiliates to see we really are transparent in our dealings.

Daniel

MultiBill 12-11-2002 09:33 PM

Just the Village Idiot - The no shave guarantee is easy. At any time, you as an affiliate can sign up to any of our 60 sites with your affiliate URL. Use your name, a family member or a friend, and every time you will see the transaction occur with subscription details and all included in your stats area. From there, tell us it was you who joined up, and we will immeidtaley refund that transaction. Anytime, anyhow, you will always be paid.

We are trying a new and innovative way of sharing the profits with our affiliates. Give me a better term to use, and we may use it.

But please try and understand, we are giving all our affiliates the majority of the profits from all sales (go here to see what I mean - http://www.hardprofits.com/105program/profits.html, so we are really really trying to do the best for all round.

Our profits come from:
The $2.95 trials
The Web900 Transactions
The dialer income

We give $35 away from every $39.95 transaction for the 1st three months of every subscription on our sites

Daniel

Snake Doctor 12-11-2002 09:41 PM

If you're going to pay out $35 for every $40 you bill, and then pay the processing fees and pay on exits, how in the hell are you planning on making money? LOL

I'm assuming this isn't a charitable organization...

MultiBill 12-11-2002 09:48 PM

Lenny2

Good Question

Go to http://www.hardprofits.com/105program/profits.html for our explanation

We make a very small profit on turnover, but we pick up income from

1) Members who stay longer than three months
2) The $2.95 trials
3) Web900 Sales (which account for about 4% of our total new sale transactions
4) Dialers (which is the last billing option for all our join pages
5) And we have a link to Candid for Live chat that we make a few bucks on

Overall, we have poured over our spreadhsheets on these equations and we feel we can make a respectible 16% Gross return

Daniel

Just the Village Idiot 12-11-2002 10:02 PM

Daniel,

Honest questions with good responses... not bashing.... just trying to get a handle.

Site looks good.... busy but good.

MultiBill 12-11-2002 10:27 PM

PaulSweet - Aggh - sorry I missed responding to you mate. Thx for the kind words.

The Korean sales bit was quite easy, as the 2000Charge interface is a synch to work with. The big challenges to us now is to get as many of the European countries tied up.

Right now, we only offer Euro to Germany and Italy, but 5 more European countries are about to be added.

Another biggie for us is prepaid Visa Cards. I am having a meeting with some folks in Dallas in January on this project, so I may have a 1st (I said "May" guys) for a new billing method

The other area we are investigating is SMS billing, but just getting paid seems to be the problem there at the moment :(

Daniel

KRL 12-11-2002 10:30 PM

Very well done! You can tell you did your homework. Good luck with it!!

MultiBill 12-11-2002 10:38 PM

KRL - thanks for that. By the way, do you know a good mate of mine. His name is Tim H (from the gold coast in australia)?

MultiBill 12-12-2002 06:43 PM

Daniel

Hire me as a consultant, (yes, cash), and I'll examine every inch of every site you got and provide you with a full written report. :glugglug

Contact can be initiated from my site: Optical Amplitude

I can have reviews and recommendations done for you before Internext, but I doubt you'll be able to make all the modifications by then.

MultiBill 12-12-2002 07:02 PM

Amputate Your Head - what would be the cost, and what would the report contain (abbreviated version of course)?

Daniel
