the only thing i find memorable about his whole presidency is the 'cash for clunkers economic stimulas package - one of the dumbest ever' and him and his wife bragging about making it to 12 BALLROOMs to dance in the night he got elected.

I prefer that Obama would win for finally getting the US out of Iraq and Afghanistan, or for obtaining a Peace Accord between Israel and the Palestinians, once he had actually accomplished either. :2 cents:

well it's true that thus far he hasn't accomplished much, i'm assuming they gave him the award just on the fact his persona and apologies to the rest of the world for god knows what has changed the way the rest of the world views America. a black man becoming the president of the most powerful country in the world viewed by the rest of the planet as racists and war mongers is a historic achievement nobody thought possible - not now and maybe not ever. they're rewarding him for just being him.

Dont get me wrong, I think Obama is a blessing for America and good for the world.... but thats fucking atrocious decision making. Kind of devalues the prize.

He's hardly done anything on that front....... they should at least wait to see what his achievement is gonna be.

Worldwide hatred, animosity towards the US was erased almost overnight, if you live abroad you know what I mean, it went from people looking like they wanted to spit in your face to them slapping you in the back saying USA! Obama! Obama!

He has accomplished enough. He is NOT George W. Bush. That alone gives him (or anyone else) at least a chance for the peace prize

So..how many 'runners up' could you come up with? I don't think many that have won have actually brought peace about. It is a symbolic award. Heck, that is how they could give it to Yasser Arafat.

Somewhere I have a photo I took of a sidewalk mural that somebody did in London of inspirational black leaders from around the world. They had Obama right in there with Mandela. On the wall behind them there was still the remains of a poster of Bush with a bullseye on his face.

This is a total fail of The Nobel Prize.... the World is coming down, I tell you.

As far as the award goes...... Obama has done everything in his power to weaken America economically, diplomatically and militarily. Why is it a surprise that the anti-American left has awarded him for doing so?

By rule the award has to be given to either a Marxist or a terrorist so his selection makes sense in every way.
