If I had to nail it down to one it would have to be Portuguese linguica and bean soup. Now that summer is pretty much over and chill is starting to hit. Come warm times either a tomato consume or some proper Spanish gazpacho. |

Honestly very few restaurants can make it the way I like, but French Onion Soup. Only one stands out in Vegas where they use various onions and it comes served in a massive onion with the best taste I ever had. I wish I remember where it was as I was taken out by a friend but I would say that is my favorite.

I'm not a soup fan but a friend once made me pumpkin soup which was soooooo good!

There is a place on the Oregon Coast called The Fireside Inn that makes the best clam chowder I have ever had. I drive over there a couple of times a year just for that. So I would have to say that their clam chowder is my favorite soup

Actually lots of good ones listed.
Glad it is soup time of year, at least for the hot soups. You all got me thinking and since there is one more burst of them before fall really sets in. I definitely want to make a good cream of artichoke soup now. I do love a good onion soup. However a good one takes some serious time. It will be on my list soon, just need to plan a day for it. |
Minestrone...a meal in a bowl!
