LA area residents. Can you identify this location? (pic)
Took this flying out of LAX a couple weeks ago. I initially thought it was Santa Monica, then El Segundo. Doesn't seem to be either.
Any ideas? http://juliablue.com/tuesday460.jpg |
isn't that downtown LA? that round building, its a big hotel I think.
|
Century City
Century Park East between Santa Monica Blvd and Olympic |
Looks like hell to me.... Very nice pic ;)

Thats is definitely Century City -- where all the LA westside lawyers reside.
The building at the bottom is Fox Plaza and that was the building used in Die Hard -- Nakatomi Plaza. |
Looks like downtown to me.
|
Ehyo - is GFY turning into your personal amateur photography blog or what?
|
That's downtown. The round building poking through the marine layer is the US Bank Building.
|
That's Downtown, my home
|
looks like downtown to me.. the circle building looks like the crown building.. which by the way, the builder or owner designed that building to look like the wedding ring he had made for his wife..
|
thats downtown, 100% sure. Its like 5 min from my house lol

Here's baddog's pic...

Nice pic!! |
nice pic really
|
well that was exciting, hehe
|
Sorry guys, its not downtown.
If it was, the "round building" you all keep mentioning would be about 30 stories higher then anything else. The US Bank building downtown (the round one) is the tallest building west of the mississippi. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...er_(small).jpg |
scary looking ,
