Hoes.com vs PenisBot.com - State of the Link List

These mega link sites have been the power houses of the adult industry for years. I have been following all the big players in the link list industry since 1999. Sadly, a lot of the big link list players have dropped off in traffic and quality.

I remember getting my first CyberAge Platinum site listed at Link-o-Rama but then de-listed for something stupid rule they decided to implement on AVS sites.

I always tried to get a free site or my CyberAge sites listed at Danger Daves. For some reason that mother fucker would never list my site no matter how many changes I did to comply.

Tommy's Bookmarks actually banned my entire net block for some stupid reason.

I always submitted my site to Jay but never got a listed with no reason.

The link list owners have these crazy rules that your site has to comply with....Your header is too big, my link is not with the other big players, you forgot to clearly state my site rocks....

The only sites that would list my sites and are still currently listed are Hoes and PenisBot.

Go figure......

and a big FUCK YOU to all who rejected my free sites....

At least they dont have huge monthly fees like TGP's. It's free to submit to most LL's.

The good ones that rejected you're sites leave your listing in there forever.

Would you commit to a piece of shit free site for the life of your LL?

hoes.com and penisbot were always nice to me as well

The problem with link list is that they never had universal rules. Every link list owner thinks that giving up a link on their site was valuable and that they had to abide by their particular rules. Universal rules would have made the "link list" the standard in online adult business.

I only see the two major players in search results for big keywords.

Im glad that the two biggest link list have accepted my sites.

Here is another FUCK YOU to all the link list owners who have rejected me. Especially, the ones with a CyberAge grudge.

I can see where you are coming from. But alot of those ones that were rejecting for stupid reasons were not even worth changing your site over. Alot of it was the submitters. I ran a link list and I got so much shit daily in my submit form. It was amazing, and not matter how many times you rejected them or banned them, they still submitted shit. The best thing to do was keep working with the link list you wanted to get listed on. Keep submitting great sites and they will list you every time.

As for AVS, that was a whole another area. Were you submitting right around the time when AVS was on the ropes with the Visa shit?

Whats not universal about index , main , gallery one and gallery two?

Yah some are a bit fickle about being next to each other on the same recip table. Some dont list your sites because they simply just dont want/like or need you. Just move on and submit to another list.

Ive been turned down and rejected too. This week in fact. I just remove the recip to the guy who rejected me and submitted to another one. I cant please every one.

Each time I got rejected I looked at at the site and why I was rejected. I do what I can to get listed on the next one. No biggie.

I go way back with the AVS thing....back to when CyberAge was AgeCheck. AdultCheck was getting listed on http://www.excite.com/ ... The AVS game was a money maker.

Still submitting? Dang...

Link lists aren't loved by Google like they used to be. Surfers these days don't even know what a link list is.

Oh shit I remember AdultCheck, that was cash everytime, but they also had some pretty fucked up rules to getting listed.

Richards Realm is a top notch link list as well.

There is only a couple site types or models that you can see listed on hundreds or thousands of terms.(One site covering multiple niches and holding down ranks long term) And above you mention 2 great examples of link lists that do so. There is also other types that can and do but not many.

I think google has lots of love for link lists, its link list owners they probably have the issue with.

Richards Realm would also list me too all the time. The had a timer thingy and you have to wait a few minutes up to like a half an hour to submit.

Even Richards Realm has fallen from greatness. Their traffic has slowly diminished from the elite level.

Yep still submitting. I like the traffic and it's working for me.

fris 10-13-2009 08:47 AM

hoes and penisbot are the only ones worth a shit anyway, my link for my blog was on the front page of penisbot for a couple years until recently, they redid their system and I dont run the blog that was listed anymore, but the traffic was HQ and so was hoes.com, i would recommend getting listed to anyone that wants some free hq traffic.

Martin 10-13-2009 08:51 AM

I used to do free sites. Got listed every where. Then they started getting all nazi like the tgps and asking for partnership fees. Even the guys that send 2 hits a day started asking you to sign up for partner accounts. That's when I stopped. It was a joke really.

LeRoy 10-13-2009 08:56 AM

I love it when people give up on free sites.

Less competition ;)

Yea man, several sales a day just from the AVS's Links Page alone :) Good times.

Most of the time when you get banned/blocked its because of additional sites submitted with the same bad linking. Using submission scripts are fine, but always reply or at least fix the requested changes asked by the LL webmaster.
