Question to all cheap asses about returning $5 item to the grocery store.
Should I or should I not? Bought some “fresh” cocktail shrimp this morning and it’s spoiled. Smells like dead rat and has sticky liquid on it.
|
fuck ya take that shit back, I feel like I get robbed when that happens. But I wouldn't take them back if you shoved them up your snatch and shot them out to film a YouTube video.
:-) |
I'd take it back to help others. Some idiots might eat it and get sick.

Depends how close the store is and how much you really wanted those shrimps :)

Just call the store. No need to stop by, they should organise a store credit for next time you are in.

Oh, and I don't think it is being a cheap ass to take something like this back. It is being smart with your money. :)

It's probably more about the principle than the $
My wife recently purchased a twin pack of salami: they're separate sealed packs so the other one stays fresh longer. Well talk about fresh, in one of the packs the salami was a grey-green colour. Not sure what went wrong (maybe a micro hole in one of the packs?), but I wasn't about to see if it was still edible. :helpme |

I do it on principle all the time. I buy shit and its bad I will return it. If the deli cuts my cheese/meat wrong Ill make them do it over again.
Its your fucking money get what you paid for no matter the price. |
sounds like too much drama over $5... :2 cents:
