excersize balls as computer chairs
Is anyone using one of these as their computer chair? how long for?
Are they worth it? Is it making your abs and back stronger? Is getting one of these a stupid idea? :) http://www.karatedepot.com/catalog/i...s/tr-ex-14.jpg Does she come with the chair? :Graucho |
I do. Someone here suggested it but I can't remember who. My back feels so much better since I've been using it.
Wally World has em for 15.00. |
I used to have one. I liked it quite a bit. It got punctured and I haven't got around to getting a new one, but I plan to.
Of course, I'm big on switching out chairs to reduce fatigue in front of the computer. I have 2 others right now that I alternate. :2 cents: |

Good for your back, it doesn't get stiff. You don't lean. I also get less bored/agitated when I'm concentrating on something that is less than fun if I can bounce while I'm doing it. I've had one around for 2 years. Once in awhile I pull up a chair instead, but the ball is better. Your ass will thank you. If it turns out you don't want it, you can always give it to a friend's kid. |

I also read in a magazine that you get a decent ab workout .. just from your muscles keeping you balanced on the ball. Although, I wouldn't be able to resist bouncing around the office on it :)

it looks funny. Pentae you gotta get one!
|
wow, that's exactly what I need.
I'm going to give it a try. |
