Who would be best to contact to sell my domain??

Hi all,

I am pretty new to the adult domain market but I currently have my domain "Nudetube.co.uk" up on auction on Sedo at the moment and I want to contact some potential buyers/bidders who may be interested.

The problem is that I do not know who to contact. I am pretty sure that some big Tube site owners are most likely members here but I just don't know who they are. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be most helpful.

Regards,

Nick.

ebay, then email the URL of the auction to parties you think might be interested. Most will tell you to eat shit or insult your mother but you may get a few bids. What are you expecting to get from that domain?

Considering I don't live in UK...

In order to register a .CO.UK domain name you must be a UK citizen or resident, or you need to register the domain for a UK registered company or organization. You can take your .CO.UK domain name for a period of 2 years, as per its registry's policy.

So that should eliminate pretty much everyone :)

Next time.... use .COM

I'm sure there are some loopholes around that... :2 cents:

Sharphead: I am from the UK which is why I use .co.uk. I have also never heard of any restrictions regarding .uk domain so I will check that one out. I think .us have similar restrictions that you quoted yet I still own one. I have also recently sold one to someone in Sweden with no problems.

Babaganoosh: Thanks for the ebay tip I never thought of that. Also I think I may try emailing a few people. As far as price I would be happy with anything over £250/$400 ish...although I do think that it is worth a fair but more. Ive had similar offers on other forums but turned them down but decided to give the auction method a go.

Thanks for the input so far...more welcome.

anyone can own .co.uk. certain registrars want you to input some number but others like namecheap require nothing. i own a couple.

Thanks :)

I deal in mostly .coms.

My advice would be to simply use google to find all the adult boards you can and list in thier buy/sell section and also do a search for domain boards and do the same.

You should get enough exposure from doing this.

Good luck with your sale.

Thank you Cyberclaire and everyone for your advice.

.COM is King, never forget that reality.

Just out of curiosity does anyone happen to know a more direct email address for the guys that own Nudetube.com...other than the privacy email listed on the Whois??

I cannot in the life in me find one.

It seems they maybe offshore....if all else fails maybe just take a shot at webmaster@ or admin @ nudetube , its worked for me in the past with other sites.

As a last resort if you really want to contact them I see they have 3 snail mail addresses on thier site....just try all 3.

I will give the admin and webmaster @ nudetube a try.

Do not think snail mail will work this week as there is massive strikes of pretty much all postal service workers starting tomorrow which is not helpful so I don't think any letters will get there in time anyway.

I have to say I am very impressed with the level of help some people are willing to give on this forum. Much appriciated.

where from? As it is already in auction....

Before I try to sell any domain, I set up the web page with a black background and a great logo of the domain in the middle with my contact info. I also set up the title/generic description/meta tags and get it listed on google. I set up an get looking auction on ebay and email the auction link to everyone in that market. I never get appraisals because it's worth what someone will pay not what some computer says it's worth.:2 cents:

take out tiny classified ads in newspapers. works like a charm.

Good advice...I always think a domain pointing to a site or as you explained going to a nice page with a logo does wonders.

I also agree appraisals have no value at all..its how much someone in the market wishes to pay.

I know this may sound stupid however what do you mean by a 'get looking auction'. Is it simply an auction which draws attention to the domain but with a very high price tag so no one bids, perhaps with contact info included?

parkinn 10-21-2009 09:56 AM

Well I have tried my best to contact as many people as possible but not got a single reply.

Only one and a half days to go and at a bargin price! Get your bids in on Nudetube.co.uk over at Sedo if you are interested :)

Have you contacted www.huntingmoon.com and RickLatona.com ???? problem is you already have it in auction so other than board posts now i guess you can only wait and see how it goes.
