I dont usually catch the news before I leave for the office but I caught part of it this morning... There was an interview with an ex-model who had been attacked by acid, click here to check out the story... It's pretty fucked up

She was on Radio 5 Live this morning doing an interview. She was pretty inspirational. Not that it wouldn't have been a tragedy if a non-model had had acid thrown in her face, mind you.

When I was a young man I was vehemently against capital punishment, but when I see stories like this it starts to make me think hanging people like those two would be the best thing to do with them.

damn, how fucked up do you have to be to even think of doing that, let alone actually doing it!

FYI - mostly for people in the US, In the UK life doesn't actually mean life as in "till you aren't alive any more" - in this case it means 16 years minimum, but watch them get out in less.

btw, when I was in London in January there was a similar story in the paper - and the woman was either handicapped or mentally retarded....

I think capital punishment should be ladled out like soup at a homeless shelter. 18, 19, 20 executions a year?!?! WTF?

We should be throwing them into a meat grinder at 500 a day! And we should be proud to do it. Holding our heads high, each year trying to out-do the number slaughtered!

If they were in the US, it wouldn't matter, because the inmates would take care of them. That or they would spend their entire prison sentences in isolation after getting butt raped a few times.

I firmly believe if you do ANYTHING unto another in a harmful manner, it should be allowed through all lands, to do the same to you as your punishment....then either death after a period of being jailed (or immediate death if you killed someone).

These people will obviously never learn...nor have the chance to in prison....so why not make a statement. I bet the crime rate drops at least 25%
