Apple finally has a new mouse!
 

Finally one that may be worth having. The top of the mouse is basically a touch pad.

Yeah, the mighty mouse both wired and bluetooth was ok for a while but once it started to get dirt in the roller ball it was a pain and had to cleaned at least daily. Will give this new one a shot as it is included with the new 27" iMac and I am getting one of those.

I am not a fan of apple mice and this is no exception. I think they should stick to the standard 2 button mice the rest of the world embraced years ago.

i threw away my $100 "mighty" (shitty) apple mouse and am perfectly happy with my $20 logitech cable mouse with 2 buttons and a scroll wheel

Well, I'm fully addicted/used to finger jests to navigate using the MBP scroll pad, so this mouse is gonna be excellent for me. In fact I've always thought why they never released a mini tablet type thing based on their trackpads cos you can do most things a mouse can do with a trackpad anyway.
