Programs With Intellichat Enabled - Speak Up

If you have a program that implements the IntelliChat tool on your program, please speak up and post your info here. Short of following every affiliate link and clicking the join link, then back button, each week, it would be nice if sponsors would just speak up if they have this added to their NATS or MP3 programs.

More specifically, the following would be good info for anyone considering joining your program in terms of flexibility:
  • Is your IC implementation cookie-based, or session based. There is a rather significant difference. Session-based means the IC popup promo offers are limited per session and the surfer who declines the IC offer leaves with an unmodified cookie; cookie-based means that even if a surfer declines the IC offer, they leave with an IC modified cookie so that if they come back without first clicking an affiliate link, they come back and continue to receive the discounted offer. Cookie-based installs are apparently the default implementation.
  • Do you offer the ability for affiliates to choose which method they would like implemented on their links, cookie-based or session-based?
  • Do you offer affiliates the choice of having their links IC interception enabled, or turned off if they want?

For what is supposed to be a great affiliate add-on, it's pretty surprising how few programs announce they've added a 3rd party link interception tool. It'd be nice to see a list of programs that have it enabled so that traffic tracking can be adjusted and campaigns created to better monitor the effectiveness for those who want to try it.

we use intellichat

troncarver 10-21-2009 01:51 PM

are you an intellichat competitor lol

robwod 10-21-2009 01:52 PM

Tron: nope... not a competitor at all. An affiliate who is skeptical about 3rd party link interception add-ons. But it is the flexibility of the implementation by the program owner that I am wanting to find out to determine how to work with that sponsor more effectively, or not at all.

Bump for sponsors with Intellichat enabled on affiliate links.

I know you're out there :)

I think there was a thread very recently about DatingGold adding this to their program.

Si: yes.. DG has it enabled, and also answered all the questions I had above. I'll be setting something up with them tomorrow (albeit sans IC). Real nice guys to deal with.

Intellichat are good people.

Intellichat pops up live interaction with an agent when a surfer tries to leave. That's great. But, if that's done for every single surfer, I doubt the sales agents can keep up. Unless there's a lot of them and they type really fast.

GayIpornSteve: I'm not saying IC are not good people. Whether they are or not is irrelevant. I am simply trying to figure out which sponsors have it enabled and, if so, how flexible their implementation is. As it turns out, DatingGold were extremely responsive and it actually made me set something up with them tomorrow.

Fatfoo: it is not a live agent. It's a scripted popup.

Intellichat is a virtual agent, not a real agent. lol and it pops when users leave the join page
