Maple Leafs Paradox
Strange Phenomenon.
A Toronto-based physicist being interviewed on the CBC was asked to describe the concept of a paradox. After hearing his rather verbose and complicated explanation, the interviewer asked for a real-life example. The scientist responded with: "Imagine if Ron Wilson were to put Vesa Toskala, who is unable to stop pucks, in net and have his players, who are unable to get pucks past goaltenders, begin taking shots at their own goalie. What would happen?" The interviewer replied with, "Ah, paradox." Then his head imploded.
