Serious productivity tip - mac users inside
 

I read Getting Things Done a while ago, but it didn't quite work for me, because I only really have one default location.

I bought an app called Things a few months ago and I can't recommend it enough. It is very much in the GTD mould, but I prefer it's simplicity. It also has a nice iPhone app so you can check/add stuff and it all syncs and is all lovely.

Try it. Might make your life easier.

I tried things, igtd and a couple of others. Then I realized that a notebook and a pen makes the entire process MUCH easier and faster.

Same here, I use a 20 cent notebook and a pen :thumbsup

GTD practitioners mainly recommend a notebook (moleskine). I spend most of my day at the mac, so a digital method that syncs with my phone works for me.

I think the main thing is to use SOMETHING. Doesn't matter what it is, as long as you use it.

I was merely recommending this app, cos I think it's great.
