Ever seen anybody you know on America's Most Wanted /Crimewatch type shows?

I haven't but whenever I watch them I wait for it to happen. Have you and what did you do?

I don't really watch those types of shows so I never have. I did once work with a woman that was on the Jerry Springer Show and was proud of it. She told me this, I was a little surprised (she seemed pretty normal) and the next day she brought her episode in on tape so I could see it.

It turns out her boyfriend, who was also the father of her daughter, was banging her best friend too. They had a Springer light fight on stage and ripped each other's tops off then after the fight they made up while topless and decided they would both dump the guy. It was funny and sad at the same time. . . But I did get to see her topless :)

Oh, I have known several people on Springer type shows...being in porn and involved with the early BBW community has made sure of that.

No, but I got into a bit of an argument with a bouncer at the local pub and 2 days later he is on some true crime stories program talking about how he killed someone.

had a friend whose sister was abducted and they found her body brutally beaten in the everglades, but never knew anyone personally that had been on either of those shows!

I haven't but I once knew a waitress that did. She worked at a local cafe and I used to coffee up in the mornings at the cafe. I went in one evening to have dinner and she told me that the previous day she had a customer come in that had been profiled on the show. She called the cops while he was still at the cafe and they told her she was probably just mistaken and they did not even send an officer down. The guy left and that night at closing time he came in and robbed the place. She and the other employees were locked in a store room and were not let out until the morning crew came to work. When she told the reporter from the local paper the story...there was a briefly lived crucification of the police force. The guy was never spotted in town again and was probably just passing through.

I've watched that show my whole life.

I am convinced I will catch someone I know before I die.

Back in high school a couple of buddies of mine told me that they were going to rob a convenience store with a BB gun one of them had. I just blew it off as a joke, but later that night I see these 2 dumb asses on the local news broadcast holding up some store taking smoke and emptying the 75 bucks or whatever it was from the till. Needless to say they were busted.. hahaha..
