My first experience at using wordpress as a cms

Something Im working on for a client today, which I have never done before in wordpress.

I import csv data with video,thumbnail,description not via posts but a centralized "database storage method" also known as CRUD.

Parse the results of imported data with php using xml to create a playlist on the fly for a flash player.

Example: a db dump of 100 videos of RealityCash, and have the banner on top and textlink on bottom of the player, with a playlist beside the flash player.

Methods being used are:

php (csv importer and code to create xml on the fly of data imported)
xml (format for the flash playlist)
flash (video player)
csv (format for import)
crud (using wordpress pods)
javascript (swfobject)

Thought I would share, if the client lets me Im going to write a tutorial with documentation on how to do this.
