first shoot have questions

after lurking this site for years i think im ready for my first shoot, but i have what maybe a stupid question. i have seen videos online where someone is taking pictures of the model while they are film and you can see the flash in the video. how would i avoid that? do i just take a break from filming, pause the cam and start shooting stills?

What are you trying to achieve here? If you want to produce stills and video of the same scene then most companies shoot them separately and just repeat the scene (other than cumshot of course which is normally faked in the stills). Normally they do the scene in stills first and then repeat it on video.
If you try to shoot the two at the same time you will either have to put up with the click of the camera and the flashes OR you will have to have sub-quality stills by not using flash, so I would definitely suggest doing them separately.

Many many years ago people would either try and shoot the stills at the same time as the footage but anyone that is not the case. As PureCharlie said before me, what they do now is prepare the set, go over the scene with the talent and sort of do a dress rehearsal of the scene while taking hardcore stills, however with the stills there is much more posing for the camera of course than there will be with the actual video shot of the scene itself. Then after you get all of your hardcore stills you can begin doing the actual scene.

All you had to do was ask :winkwink:

Typically you shoot all the still photography first all the way up to but not including the cumshot. Then everyone gets dressed and you do the entire thing over again shooting all the video including the cumshot. After that, you take stills of the cumshot. If there is not enough cum left after the video, you make a fake cum solution to put on the model's face and then take pics of that. Good luck!

Very interesting to know.
Personally - something to keep in mind when shooting video... do not laugh or talk too much during the shoot - as it ruins the experience for the audience.

Let the model do all the talking and if necessary, get her to remember a few lines to say before recording.

If you will be directing ... use the shooting of the stills to kind of guide(direct) the talent as to what you want in the video!
This way the video shoot will go much smoother with less stops/takes.

Good luck!

for me the best is shoot 3 first position at the begining of the shoot , and when i cut i take 2-3 position and at the end i take still of the cumshot so i take me only 15 to 20 min max to get the pics i need
