T-Mobile network is down
 

Just an FYI, T-Mobile's network is down and they do not know why, or when it will be restored.

This is a global situation.

I have Verizon as a backup because I travel a lot and go to off the wall places. Very rarely do I have service on Verizon when it is not available on T-Mobile. And it works like a charm in EU. Verizon doesn't. :2 cents:

It works on and off i get some calls and can only make calls to people that use at&t

cell networks seem to be getting hammered lately. gee i wonder why!?

It was just posted on Engadget about a half hour ago. I called a buddy of mine with T-Mob and it worked fine. Must be certain regions only.

data works great, voice is kind of iffy right now, and text is down.

How fun for TM subscribers. Cant wait for the class action lawsuit.

Verizon is good for their data network and 3G coverage. AT&T blows and Tmobile is worse.

However, when i was over in Italy last year, Tmobile worked good with foreign carriers.

Well, I do use Verizon wireless for my Internet provider on the road. They certainly beat T-Mobile on that one . . . probably because I am grandfathered in.

I have T-mobile w/ android. The only thing I can't do right now is text.

I have an android phone also. Incoming data works, so you can surf. Sending data out doesn't work. I'm starting to get text again.
