Do you have complete control of the box?

For instance, you have root, you can type

ln -s /home/username/site1 /ftpdir

or you could just make one root folder, many ways to do it

They are on the same IP. Plesk is asking for FTP user every time I add new domain. I want to be able to assign existing user to newly added domain.

yes. its dedicated box with root access.
is there way to point domain to different folder other than what Plesk assigns when you create new domain thru the panel?

If multiple domains on same IP should be able to login to FTP under the main [primary] user then go to domains, pick the domain you want, then public_html

At least that is how it works with DirectAdmin.

And when I said Plesk did it ring the bell that I wasn't talking about DirectAdmin?

Sorry for trying to assist. I gave you a link to get you started. I briefly looked at plesk 5 years ago. It was not a good fit but seemed self-intuitive enough. Figured my hints might help, But fuck it.

Ask your host.

well, if someone is asking you 'whats 2+2' and you say 'square root of 121 is 11' ???
What does your link about "plesk and same IP" has to do with my original question? I know this board is your gateway to social freedom but fuck I would rather see you do barefootsies and say :2 cents: rather than wasting my time. Thank for you efforts, but you should read the question first and stop acting like 'know it all' old man. I already sent ticket to my host, hopefully it will be more informative than irrelevant link to google.
